Red Globe

This dramatic seeded red grape with its huge berries is a cross between Red Emperor, Hunisa and Nocera, and was developed in California in 1958.

Red Globe is harvested in late February and has loose bunches and a good shelf life.

This is at present is one of the most widely propagated grape varieties worldwide.

Rubistar

Rubistar was developed in South Africa, and released for cultivation by ARC-Nietvoorbij in 1986. It originated from a cross between Queen of the Vineyard and Muscat Hamburg.

Rubistar is harvested in late January and has an oval berry, a red skin and a light Muscat flavour.
